HISTORY OF EL NIÑO DE SALAMBAO ACADEMY
The school, EL NIÑO DE SALAMBAO ACADEMY and the Campano family established to be on service for the greater number of people at all times to facilitate and motivate the goals and portals of the educational institution.
It all started when owner/directress of El Niño de Salambao Academy, the former Ms. Lorna de Leon stopped teaching in Malate Catholic School and got married with School President, Capt. Pedro S. Campano. School Directress Lorna de Leon Campano, an educator and a degree holder of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Sto. Tomas and with a Pre-School specialization in Kindergarten, from the Philippine Normal University and from the International Pre-School of San Diego, together with her husband Capt. Pedro S. Campano planned to establish an educational institution which is founded on the couple’s love for children and the unwavering commitment to educate the youth. After meticulously planning for this educational institution, the realization of their dreams was fulfilled in October of 1986.
Named after the Holy Infant Jesus Sto. Niño Parañaque; who in matter of coincident was also named after the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Campano-Ma. Niña, whose birthdate falls on the Feast day of Sto. Niño in January.
El Niño de Salambao Kinder-Nursery School was first established in October 1986 which aimed at preparing the young children to the wonderful world of education and at the same time, having an educational institution which is accessible to all. Having successfully offered the Kinder – Nursery course for almost four years, many parents expressed their desire of having a complete elementary course. The feeling that the services of the school is being recognized; gave the school administration the courage to accept the challenge and to respond the growing demands of quality education, it was then decided that the school be named El Niño De Salambao Academy, after which the institution was granted a government recognition effective school year 1993 – 1994.
The desire for improvement has been the result of the unending quest for quality education. After series of study, this school decided to embark an improved curriculum which will eventually produce graduates that will be competitive in this fast phased world. The continuous search for improvement and its commitment to quality education as well as being in service led the members of the Board to offer the Secondary course in 1996.
Since it was established in 1986, El Niño de Salambao Academy takes pride in producing students who are achievers in both the academic and non-academic field. In line with this, the students also take part in community activities which encourage them to play their part in community development and in nation building. Furthermore, El Niño de Salambao will continuously enhance its curriculum in order to keep up with the innovations of contemporary society. Rest assure the El Niño de Salambao Academy will remain to its commitment of service and quality education for the youth.

To assist, guide and encourage the individual to attain maximum growth through varied school activities, thereby being capable to share his skills toward the improvement of life.
Encourage students to participate and excel in both and excel in both academic and non-academic fields.
